If someone wanted only big onions or the best quality tomatoes, they had to depend on the shopkeeper’s choice. Sometimes shopkeepers even charged extra for selecting big-sized vegetables. We saw this problem very closely and thought – why can’t customers pick their own vegetables and fruits just like they pick clothes in a shop? After all, food is the most important thing for any family, and everyone deserves the right to choose what they want. That is when we started the Hand Pick System for the first time in Jaipur. What is the Hand Pick System? The Hand Pick System means that customers can pick their own vegetables and fruits directly from the baskets and shelves. Many shops and even supermarkets followed the same method because customers demanded it. We feel proud that we were the first to bring this customer-friendly idea to Jaipur.
